Applied to entity and credential records published prior to the version 2.0 revision.

Requirements

This version defined the 1Cert Identifier for entity and credential records only. It did not provide for licence or accreditation record types, which were added in version 2.0.

Methodology

Identifiers under this version were allocated sequentially within each jurisdiction, without a distinct record-type segment.

Governance

This document is retained for reference. Records originally issued under this version were migrated to the version 2.0 format without a change to their identifier value.
