Recognition
Reciprocal arrangements
1Cert.org has not yet concluded reciprocal recognition arrangements with other standards, accreditation or registry frameworks. This page sets out the basis on which such arrangements would be approached.
Basis for a reciprocal arrangement
A reciprocal arrangement would allow 1Cert.org to recognise records or credentials maintained by another framework, and vice versa, without duplicating verification work. Any such arrangement would require a written agreement setting out the scope of mutual recognition and the evidentiary standard each framework applies.
No arrangements currently in place
No reciprocal recognition arrangements are currently in place. This page will be updated, and any recognised counterpart framework will be named, only once a written arrangement has been concluded.
Distinct from jurisdictional recognition
A reciprocal arrangement with another framework is distinct from the recognition of a jurisdictional certification partner operating under 1Cert.org's own framework — see global network for the current jurisdictional recognition structure.
