Status definitions

Every record in the registry carries one of five statuses, defined in the Standard for Credential Status Definitions (1C-STD-004).

The credential is recorded and remains within its stated validity period.

The credential was recorded but its validity period has ended.

The credential has been temporarily suspended by the issuing or recognition authority.

The credential was withdrawn or cancelled by the relevant authority.

The credential or issuing chain is not currently recognised in the registry.

A verification result confirms status against the recorded source. It is not a guarantee of future conduct.

See the full Standard for Credential Status Definitions for the evidentiary basis required before a status is assigned or changed.
