Sets the disclosure, completeness, lapse and verification requirements for the recognition chain shown on a published credential record.
Scope
Applies to every credential record published in the 1Cert.org registry.
- Disclosure. Every published credential record discloses its recognition chain: the credential; the issuing body and its 1Cert Identifier; and the recognition arrangement under which the issuing body is recognised, with the arrangement reference and validity dates.
- Completeness. A chain link that cannot be disclosed is shown as not recorded; it is never inferred or filled by assertion.
- Lapse. Where a recognition arrangement has lapsed, the chain displays the lapse and its effective date; the credential record itself is not altered by the lapse.
- Verification. A verification result presents the chain as recorded at the time of the query.
